Monte Isola Carzano con l'Antena hai inizio il cammino

È stato innalzato il primo simbolo della Festa di Santa Croce 2025: un gesto carico di significato che segna l’inizio dei lavori.

Da questo momento, Carzano si mette in moto.

Ogni mano, ogni cuore, ogni sorriso contribuirà a trasformare il paese in un’opera collettiva di pini, fiori e tradizione.

Un viaggio che ci porterà fino a settembre, quando tutto sarà pronto per accogliere la festa che torna ogni cinque anni e che vive dentro ognuno di noi.

Una promessa fatta quasi due secoli fa, nel 1836, quando gli abitanti di Carzano chiesero grazia alla Santissima Croce per essere risparmiati dal colera. Da allora, ogni cinque anni, la comunità rinnova quel voto con una celebrazione solenne, tramandata di generazione in generazione, segno tangibile di fede, memoria e gratitudine.

Every hand, every heart, every smile will help transform the village into a collective work of pines, flowers, and tradition.

A journey that will lead us to September, when everything will be ready to welcome the celebration that returns every five years and lives in all of us.

The origins of the festival date back to 1836, when the people of Carzano, afflicted by a cholera epidemic, made a solemn vow to the Holy Cross: if spared, they would honor it with a grand celebration every five years. Since then, this promise has been faithfully renewed—a tradition of faith, remembrance, and deep community spirit that lives on through generations.
